1008-DAS 1.5TB external hard drive

The 1008-DAS external hard drive delivers an innovative design that makes it a perfect storage expansion solution for multiple environments. The solid chassis features a tool less - tray less design for easy removal of SATA based 3.5" hard drives. The 1008-DAS features two connector types. There is an USB 2.0 (480Mbps) and an e-SATA (3Gbps) connectors for flexibility when connecting to the host computer. The 1008-DAS includes a 40mm fan to ensure large capacity drives remain cool during operation. The 1008-DAS is available in different hard drive capacities and also supports standard off the shelf SATA hard drives. The ability to easily exchange SATA hard drives makes the 1008-DAS a cost effective solution for storage targets for backups. It is also perfect for day to day storage needs required by standard PC users.
